For an exceptional couple case in which a married couple have been in a long  term married relationship, they must need to acquire a provisional visa ensuring
temporary resident. After a provision of two years, such married couple can be granted with a permanent residence visa.

Australia De Facto Visas

Migration to Australia under the Australia de facto-unmarried partner visa category is for potential applicants who are in a de facto relationship with an Australian citizen or permanent resident or in a relationship with an eligible New Zealand citizen. The initial unmarried partner visa grant is generally valid for two years. Thereafter the de facto visa applicant is eligible to apply for Australian permanent residence. A candidate may be eligible for direct permanent residence if the relationship is a long standing one and/or there are children from the relationship.

Prospective Marriage visa is suitable for the people, who are willing to enter the country to settle down with their Australian citizen or Australian Permanent resident or an eligible New Zealand citizenship fiancé or a partner.

Relationship

In order to receive a prospective Marriage Visa, the Fiancé of an application must satisfy the following terms.

  1. The applicant must be sponsored by an Australian Permanent Resident, Australian  Citizen or an eligible New Zealand Resident.
  2. The applicant must be legally married to Australian citizen fiancé and should have lived in a genuine and continuing relationship.
  3. The applicant must be eligible to marry under the Australian Marriage Law.
  4. The applicant must have the marital supporting documents of this relationship.
  5. The applicant must be able to provide the evidence of marriage arrangements  made in the country, including a printed invitation with a date, venue and  personal details on it.

Sponsor

The sponsor partner or fiancé must be a permanent resident of Australia, citizen
of Australia or eligible for the New Zealand citizenship in order to sponsor or fill
the application of a Prospective Marriage Visa.
